RAAK- Amsterdam is a Dutch lamp factory founded in 1954 by Carel O. Lockhorn, formerly working at Philips Netherlands in Eindhoven. RAAK designed innovative light objects, often in understated design. Characteristic for RAAK are the beautiful and well-finished materials. The Globe lamp (designed in 1961) is a well-known object. The bulb of the lamp was made of clear or smoked glass and was from the German Pfeil & Putzler.
